Fulvia (wife of Antony, d. 40 BC)

Fulvia was Antony’s wife. According to Plutarch, together with Lucius, Antony’s brother, she first quarreled with Octavian and then started a war against him, which she lost (Antony 30). Her daughter Clodia was to become Octavian’s wife (Antony 20). Fulvia died in 40 BC, and Antony afterward married Octavia.
