Lanciani’s plan of Rome with the buildings that burned in AD 80 marked

The fire lasted three days and three nights (Suetonius). Among the buildings destroyed were the Pantheon and the Baths of Agrippa, the Saepta, the temples of Isis and Serapis, the Theatre of Balbus, the stage of the Theatre of Pompey, the buildings of Octavia with their books, and the temple of Jupiter Capitolinus, eleven years after the fire of AD 69 (Dio).

Titus was in Campania at the time. He gave the ornaments of his own villas for the rebuilding.
